Course takes place on the evenings of June 21, July 5 and July 19 2017.

Start: 7:30 pm – Finish: 9:30pm
The course is designed for couples to increase their confidence for both labour and parenting.
The course is very practical and areas covered in the birth segments include- understanding stages of labour, self-help for labour, relaxation breathing for contractions, massage and using heat for pain relief. While the focus is on normal labour, variations and complications ( eg. Caesarean birth) are also covered.

Areas covered in the parenting segments include breastfeeding, settling your baby and understanding your baby’s sleep patterns.
